excitement about the wedding !

Heather and Randy - these are beautiful pictures what a wonderful place for the wedding! This is great to let everyone know all the activities that are available - i look forward to rock climbing (watching, anyway!) and seeing the beautiful lake ... and spending this special time with both of you, friends and family! blessings to both of you, Kathleen (Mom)

When Bill and I drove up there over the summer, we thought wow what a beautiful drive this is but a long one and wondered why you chose such a long one but when we reached Silverbay we thought what a perfect place to have a wedding for a perfect couple like the two of you. Everyone here at Catamount agrees with me that you two compliment each other.

We can not wait until the wedding,
It is going to be a beautiful day, and filled with alot of love for you two.

Silver Bay Retreat

Silver Bay strives to preserve a retreat-like atmosphere while also providing important guest services:
Business Center: Fax/copier, computer access
Wireless Internet: Available in many locations on campus.
Gift Shop: Souvenirs and sundries available in the Inn.
Laundry: Coin-operated laundry located on campus.
Phones: Cellular phones are unreliable in the Silver Bay area. Pay phones are available in locations around campus. Phone cards can be purchased at the gift shop and the front desk.

In order to maintain a retreat-like atmosphere, rooms are not equipped with phones or televisions

A complete breakdown of the costs of staying at Silver Bay

Membership fee $15.00 times 2 people = $30.00 Per Day

Room per night = $120.00

Breakfast is $10.00 times 2 people (not optional Breakfast is required) = $20.00 Per Day

Gratuity is 5% - $8.50 Per Day

Two guests for one night is a total of $178.50

50% deposit = $89.26

Two people staying for two nights $357.00
(these prices double)

If you feel like you want to stay in a different room in the same building with a communal bathroom (one bathroom for the entire floor) for a much less amount of money, that option is also available.

That room is $87.00 per night same membership fee applies and breakfast

From the south

By Car from the South: Silver Bay is 90 minutes from Albany, NY. Take the Adirondack Northway (RT 87) to Exit 24 (Bolton Landing)*, drive east five miles to the road's end at Route 9N. Turn left and drive north approximately 13 miles to Silver Bay. Look for SILVER BAY ASSOCIATION signs on the right, two miles past Sabbath Day Point. Turn right onto Silver Bay Road and drive onto the campus. Register at the Silver Bay Inn. The Inn is located on the circular drive just north of the tennis courts. Registration is on the first floor on the South side of the porch. Angle park in the Inn circle while you are chcking in. You will be given a parking permit and directed where to unload and park your vehicle.
